Glyphoxy is effective on monocot, dicot, annual & perennial weeds. It shows quicker action on tough-to-control weeds. It also provides longer duration of weeds control. GlyphOxy combines two a.i.s with two different modes of action: It acts by inhibiting the function of EPSP synthase enzyme (EPSPS), which is important in the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids, thus resulting in phytotoxicity & eventual death of weeds. It also acts by inhibiting the action of protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPOase) enzyme, resulting in quick peroxidation of lipids and thus leading to cell membrane disruption and death of the plant.
